For the 4th, we enjoyed a late dinner at Joe's Real Barbecue. The kids got soaked in the fountain under the Gilbert Water Tower. We laughed with the kids, listened to the distant boom of the fireworks, saw the occasional sparkle between the trees, drove home with the windows down {so the kids could dry off}, and finished off the night with ice cream cones from the drive-thru...it was good...
